Gas V8? A 12V pack rated for the engine is enough. Diesel 6.7 Power Stroke, 6.7 Cummins, or 6.6 Duramax? Buy a pack rated for that diesel, not a car-size GB40.

02 · NOCO build3000A peak. Rated 9.0L gas / 7.0L diesel. IP65. Check New before you click.
Check NOCO GB150Peak amps on the box are not CCA. SAE cold-cranking amps is a 30-second test at 0°F. Lithium packs quote a short peak burst. Treat 4000A and 3000A as marketing current, then read the diesel liter rating.
A 6.7 diesel is not a 5.0 gas V8. Higher compression. Glow plugs pull current before the starter even spins. Cold oil makes it worse. Buy a pack with diesel headroom, not one that just clears a 3.0L car diesel.
Both of these packs are ~88–89 watt-hours. Same size tank, different hardware. GP4000 claims 4000A peak and diesel to 10.0L. GB150 claims 3000A peak and diesel to 7.0L, in a heavier IP65 case with a 12V/15A accessory port and a voltmeter. 24,000 mAh on a lithium pack is cell-voltage math, not “this is a 24Ah truck battery.”
12V only. Dual-battery pickups (F-250/F-350, Ram HD, GM HD) are still 12V — two batteries in parallel. Do not put either pack on a 24V commercial truck unless the unit is rated 24V. Neither of these is.
Pick: job truck / diesel
For the 6.7 you actually have to start.
Drawback: wall charger is not in the box. Peak amps are still peak, not CCA. The case is not IP65.

For the IP65 NOCO pack — when New is actually for sale.
Drawback: as of September 1, 2026 PT, Amazon New is empty on this listing. The Buy Box is Used / Amazon Resale, and the page also offers Renewed. Do not make a used lithium pack the truck jump starter. Wait for New, or buy the GP4000.
Check NOCO GB150 on AmazonMatch the pack to the engine, not the badge on the door.
Gas V8 / EcoBoost half-ton (F-150 5.0 or 3.5, Silverado 5.3/6.2, Ram 5.7, Tundra 5.7/3.4): either pack. GP4000 is the in-stock buy. You do not need a GB40 “because it is only gas.” Buy once.
6.7 Power Stroke (F-250/F-350 Super Duty), 6.7 Cummins (Ram 2500/3500), 6.6 Duramax (Silverado/Sierra 2500/3500): GP4000 (diesel to 10.0L) or GB150 (diesel to 7.0L) when New is in stock. Not GB40 (diesel to 3.0L). Not GB70 (diesel to 6.0L — short of a 6.7). Cold morning plus glow plugs: take the extra liter rating.
12V only. These two packs are 12-volt. Dual-battery pickups are almost always two 12V batteries in parallel, still 12V. Hook to one battery, same as jumper cables. A 24V medium-duty, bus, or equipment truck needs a pack that is actually rated 12V/24V. GP4000 and GB150 are not that pack.
Cold. Lithium output drops when the pack itself is frozen. Keep it in the cab, not in an unheated box all week at −10. Charge it every couple of months so you are not finding a dead pack on a dead truck.
Do not use a swollen, expired, or heat-cooked pack. If the case is puffed, it is done.
Open the Amazon listing and read the engine rating. If it does not name diesel liters that cover your engine, keep scrolling.
Secondary fitment searches only. These are not the hero buy. Confirm the GP4000 / GB150 product on the Amazon page.
NOCO Boost GB40 for a truck or diesel. 1000A peak. Diesel rated to 3.0L. 24Wh pack. That is a car jumper. It will not reliably crank a 6.7 Power Stroke, 6.7 Cummins, or 6.6 Duramax. Do not “just try it.”
No-name 1000A Amazon packs. Same problem, worse clamps, unknown cells. Peak-amp print on a yellow box is not a diesel rating.
Jump-starter + air-compressor combos that are not diesel-rated. A 150 PSI inflator that cannot crank a 6.7 is a tire pump with a marketing amp number. If the diesel liter rating is missing or under 6.7, skip it.
Expired, swollen, or heat-baked packs. Lithium that sat in a summer toolbox and puffed is scrap. Do not jump a truck with it.
Used / Renewed GB150 as the truck pack. The New Buy Box is empty. Used lithium is a lottery on remaining cells. Wait for New or buy GP4000.
For a 6.7 Power Stroke, 6.7 Cummins, or 6.6 Duramax, buy GOOLOO GP4000 (diesel rated to 10.0L, New in stock). Buy NOCO Boost GB150 (diesel rated to 7.0L) only when Amazon shows New. Do not buy a GB40.
GP4000: 4000A peak, diesel to 10.0L, ~89Wh, slimmer pack, 18-month warranty on the listing, live New Buy Box. GB150: 3000A peak, diesel to 7.0L, 88Wh, IP65, voltmeter, 12V/15A accessory port, heavier, 1-year warranty. Spec fight is close on energy. Stock fight is not. Today the truck buy with New available is GP4000.
Do not count on it. GB40 is 1000A peak and NOCO rates diesel only to 3.0L. A 6.7 is more than double that. GB70 is 2000A and diesel to 6.0L — still short of a 6.7. GB150 is the Boost-series SKU that actually claims 7.0L diesel. GB250+ is the 5250A / 16L commercial 12V pack, a different product.
Same 12V pack family, different size. A gas F-150 5.0 or 3.5 EcoBoost will start on GP4000 with room to spare. A 6.7 Super Duty needs the diesel liter rating. Buy GP4000 for either. Do not downsize the F-150 to a GB40 just because it is gas.
Not as New, as of September 1, 2026 PT (September 2, 2026 UTC). The Amazon listing (ASIN B015TKSSB8) showed Used / Amazon Resale and a Renewed offer. No New Buy Box. Do not click Used as the truck CTA. GP4000 (ASIN B09HJH1S41) had a New Buy Box, sold by GOOLOO, shipped from Amazon.
Yes. GP4000 has dual USB plus USB-C. GB150 has USB-C 5V/2.1A and a 12V accessory port. Use it for a dead phone. Do not drain the pack overnight as a camping bank if it is the only jump starter in a diesel.
