Best all-weather truck floor mats

Husky Liners X-act Contour for a job truck, WeatherTech FloorLiner for a nice truck, 3W for budget custom-fit. If you actually work the truck, carpet dies. Skip universal mats. Shop buttons below are example SKUs (2021-2026 F-150 SuperCrew), labeled as such, not the article topic.

Who this is for / skip

For you if: the truck actually works. Mud, snow, diesel boots, dogs, groceries, a SuperCrew rear that people sit in. You will match year, make, cab, and the rear floor (fold-flat vs fixed, under-seat box vs none) before you click. Vinyl or carpet — you will confirm the listing, not assume.

Skip this page if: you want a universal “fits most trucks” set, a cheap rubber rectangle, or a carpet overlay. Those leave a dirt halo around the pedals and the transmission tunnel. Custom-fit or skip the buy. Also skip if you were about to order WeatherBeater thinking it is X-act Contour, or original HDTE FloorLiner thinking it is this HP Shop button.

The ones that matter

These are custom-fit liners for a named truck. Not “fits most.” If the listing does not name your year and cab, keep scrolling.

Custom-fit vs universal

A laser-scanned liner follows the tunnel, the dead pedal, the door sill, and the seat mounts. A universal mat is a rectangle. Dirt walks around it. It slides under a boot. It looks cheap in a crew cab. That is the whole skip. Do not buy scissors and a “trim to fit” blank for a SuperCrew.

Three materials, three jobs

Husky X-act Contour is DuraGrip over ProCore: softer and more flexible than Husky’s own WeatherBeater (ProGard / TPO), still a raised FormFit Edge, still StayPut nibs plus factory posts. WeatherTech FloorLiner HP is the locked Amazon hero: softer TPE, vehicle-specific walls. Original HDTE FloorLiner is the stiffer thermoformed sibling, not this Shop button. 3W is injection-molded TPE (Thorex): odorless, recyclable, vehicle-specific, usually the dollar play when you will not pay WeatherTech.

Do not mix the siblings. WeatherBeater is not X-act Contour. Original FloorLiner is not FloorLiner HP. A 3W-lookalike universal blank is not 3W. This page Shops HP, not original FloorLiner.

Fold-flat and Lightning are SKUs, not footnotes

If the SuperCrew / Crew Cab rear floor folds, or there is a factory under-seat storage box, that changes the rear liner. 3W splits those on purpose: with the original folding under-seat storage box, and a separate version without. Bucket vs bench is also split. Ford F-150 Lightning and gas F-150 (including PowerBoost) are not always the same listing. 3W markets some SuperCrew kits as 2015–2026 F-150 / Lightning for a named cab and storage config — still read the vehicle chart. Husky and WeatherTech split generations. A 2015–2020 F-150 liner is not a 2021–2026 liner.

Warranty is not the same sentence

Husky: limited lifetime to the original purchaser, original vehicle, will not break or tear under normal use, correctly installed. Abnormal wear, abuse, accident, and wrong-vehicle install are out.

WeatherTech: Lifetime Limited Warranty to the original purchaser, original vehicle only, proof of purchase. Normal wear is out. Chemical dumps (gasoline, bleach), accidents, misuse, fire, and commercial use are out. That last line is why a true work truck on this page starts with Husky.

3W: advertises a lifetime warranty on the mats; confirm coverage and exclusions on 3W’s warranty page before you treat it like Husky or WeatherTech paper. Newer brand. Less walk-in retail if you need a human at a counter.

Husky Liners X-act Contour 53468 all-weather truck floor mats Pick: job truck / daily

Husky Liners X-act Contour

For the truck you work.

  • 3D laser-scanned to the floor. Husky’s premium liner: DuraGrip surface over a ProCore core, free of latex, PVC, cadmium, and lead. Made in the USA. Tool-free drop-in; Husky lists install at 15 minutes or less, no trimming
  • FormFit Edge is the raised perimeter along the door sill and footwell. Hundreds of StayPut nibs plus factory retention posts so it does not skate under a boot. Remove, rinse, drop back in
  • Husky’s own lab comparison vs WeatherBeater (MY 2018 F-150, tests on or before September 2024): X-act Contour is about 22% more flexible, about 10% softer, and cleans about 20% faster. Limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, on the original vehicle, while you still own it. Will not break or tear under normal use if it is the liner for that truck and it is installed correctly

Drawback: it does not have WeatherTech’s dealer-lot name recognition. Do not order WeatherBeater thinking it is this liner. Confirm carpet vs vinyl on the listing — Husky sells X-act Contour for both depending on the application.

WeatherTech FloorLiner HP 44697-1-4IM all-weather truck floor mats Pick: nice truck / lease

WeatherTech FloorLiner HP

For the truck you keep clean.

  • Locked Amazon hero is FloorLiner HP, not original HDTE FloorLiner. Softer TPE, vehicle-specific walls, the WeatherTech name a dealer already quotes. Example SKU is 2021-2026 F-150 SuperCrew WITHOUT fold-flat (WT 44697-1-4IM)
  • HP is WeatherTech's TPE sibling of original FloorLiner: still laser-measured, still made to the footwell, still the walk-in brand. Original HDTE FloorLiner is stiffer and a different listing. Do not order that one thinking it is this Shop button
  • Lifetime Limited Warranty to the original purchaser, original vehicle only. Proof of purchase. Normal wear, chemical dumps (gasoline, bleach), accidents, fire, misuse, and commercial use are not a warranty event

Drawback: still WeatherTech money. If the truck is a true commercial vehicle, that commercial-use exclusion is why the job-truck default is Husky. Match fold-flat vs fixed on the listing; this HP listing is the no-fold-flat example.

3W all-weather floor mats for 2021–2026 F-150 SuperCrew with fold-flat Pick: budget custom-fit

3W floor liners

For custom-fit without the premium tag.

  • Vehicle-specific injection-molded TPE (3W’s Thorex line). 3D laser-scanned. Odorless, recyclable TPE — not a trim-to-fit rubber blank. 3W lists the material as 100% TPE, non-toxic, odorless, heat-resistant up to 167°F on SuperCrew copy. Late-model truck coverage is strong; F-150 owners buy these when they will not pay WeatherTech
  • Fold-flat / under-seat storage is its own SKU. 3W sells SuperCrew F-150 / Lightning mats with the original folding under-seat storage box and a separate version without. Bucket vs bench is also split. Confirm that on the listing. No cutting or trimming on a correct SKU
  • Lifetime warranty advertised to the original mats; confirm 3W’s warranty page for what is in and what is out. Not a walk-in dealer brand

Drawback: confirm year and cab. Newer brand, less walk-in retail. Lightning is not automatically the gas F-150 liner. A listing that says 2015–2026 SuperCrew still has to name your floor — storage box vs none, buckets vs bench.

Fitment, do this

Match year, make, and cab. Then match the rear floor. Then open the Amazon listing and read the vehicle chart. If your truck is not named, it is the wrong mat.

Cab names. Ford: Regular Cab, SuperCab, or SuperCrew. GM: Regular, Double Cab, or Crew Cab. Ram: Quad Cab or Crew Cab. Tundra: CrewMax vs Double Cab. Tacoma: Double Cab vs Crew. Gladiator is its own Jeep pattern.

Half-ton is not HD. F-150 is not F-250 / F-350 Super Duty. Silverado 1500 is not 2500/3500. Ram 1500 is not 2500/3500. Do not order off the badge on the tailgate if the door sticker says a different truck.

Generations. 2015–2020 F-150 is not 2021–2026 F-150. Ram 1500 Classic (2009–2018 shape) is not 2019+ Ram 1500. Tundra 2007–2021 is not 2022+. Tacoma 2016–2023 is not 2024+.

Lightning vs gas. Ford F-150 Lightning and gas F-150 (including PowerBoost) are not always the same floor-liner listing. Match year and powertrain.

Fold-flat / under-seat storage. If the SuperCrew / Crew Cab rear floor folds, or there is a factory under-seat storage box, that changes the rear liner. 3W splits those SKUs on purpose. A front-only kit leaves the second-row carpet open to the same mud you just stopped up front. If anyone rides back there — kids, dogs, groceries, tools — buy front and rear.

Vinyl vs carpet. Some work trucks are vinyl. Husky X-act Contour is sold for carpet and vinyl applications depending on the listing. Confirm the floor type. Do not assume a carpet liner locks on vinyl the same way.

Retention posts. Factory hooks / posts are not optional. If the liner is made for them and you skip them, it will skate. If your floor has no posts (some vinyl / rubber OEM floors), the listing has to say that.

Shop by truck

Secondary fitment searches only. These are chips, not a Shop button. Confirm Husky X-act Contour / WeatherTech FloorLiner HP / 3W and your year, cab, and rear floor on the Amazon page. Lightning is its own chip on purpose.

Skip these

Universal “fits most trucks” mats. Dirt halo around the pedals and the tunnel. They slide. They look cheap in a crew cab.

Husky WeatherBeater as the job-truck default on this page. WeatherBeater is Husky’s firmer, lower-priced TPO/ProGard line. Same FormFit Edge and StayPut nibs, same USA / limited-lifetime class. This page picks X-act Contour (DuraGrip / ProCore) as the job-truck liner. Do not invent WeatherBeater as a fourth hero.

Original HDTE FloorLiner as a swap for this HP Shop button. The locked WeatherTech listing is FloorLiner HP, example SKU without fold-flat. Original FloorLiner is a different, stiffer listing.

Trim-to-fit rubber blanks and “universal plus scissors.” If you are cutting a mat to miss the accelerator, you bought the wrong product.

Category search as the buy. A dump of every truck floor mat on Amazon is not a Shop button. Use a branded chip, then the vehicle chart.

TuxMat, Lasfit, or a no-name TPE as a fourth hero. Real products, different page. Heroes stay Husky X-act Contour / WeatherTech FloorLiner HP / 3W.

Example fitment (not the topic)

This page is Husky vs WeatherTech vs 3W as liners. F-150 SuperCrew is the highest-volume Amazon listing, not the article. Shop buttons are example SKUs (2021-2026 F-150 SuperCrew). The same three liners are the call on Silverado, Ram, Tundra, Tacoma, Sierra, Gladiator: match year, cab, and rear floor.

Crew cab rear is not extended/double-cab rear (SuperCrew is not SuperCab, GM Crew is not Double Cab, Ram Crew is not Quad Cab). Fold-flat rear and a factory under-seat storage box change the rear liner. 3W splits those SKUs. A regular-cab truck is usually a two-piece front job. If kids, dogs, or groceries ride in a crew cab, buy front and rear. Front-only leaves the carpet behind the buckets open.

Use the shop-by-truck chips for other trucks, then the vehicle chart.

Care

Pull the liner. Dump the gravel. Hose it. Let it drain. Drop it back on the posts. Do not bleach a WeatherTech liner and expect the lifetime warranty to care — chemical contamination is an exclusion. Do not leave a liner folded in a hot cab for a month and then complain it will not lie flat; 3W tells some buyers to lay a folded rear liner flat for a few days after shipping.

FAQ

What are the best all-weather truck floor mats?

For a job truck, buy Husky Liners X-act Contour. For a nice truck or a lease, buy WeatherTech FloorLiner HP. For custom-fit on a budget, buy 3W. Skip universal mats.

Husky Liners X-act Contour vs WeatherTech FloorLiner HP for a work truck?

Husky Liners X-act Contour is the TruckDaily pick for a work truck. DuraGrip stays planted under diesel boots, FormFit Edge holds mud, StayPut nibs bite carpet, and WeatherTech's lifetime warranty excludes commercial use. WeatherTech FloorLiner HP still wins if you want the walk-in name and a softer TPE liner for a nice truck or a lease. Original HDTE FloorLiner is a different, stiffer listing, not this Shop button.

Do EV / Lightning liners fit a gas truck of the same year?

Do not assume they do. Ford F-150 Lightning and gas F-150 (including PowerBoost) are a common split, and they are not always the same listing. Same idea on any truck with a unique EV floor. Match year and powertrain on the listing before you buy.

Should I buy universal truck floor mats?

No. Universal “fits most trucks” mats leave a dirt halo around the pedals and the transmission tunnel. Buy a custom-fit liner for your year, cab, and drivetrain.

How do I match cab size and fold-flat rear floors?

Match year, make, and cab: Ford Regular Cab, SuperCab, or SuperCrew; GM Regular, Double Cab, or Crew Cab; Ram Quad Cab or Crew Cab. If the rear floor folds or you have an under-seat storage box, that changes the rear liner — 3W sells those as separate SKUs. 2015–2020 F-150 and 2021–2026 F-150 are different generations.

Are 3W truck floor mats custom-fit?

Yes. 3W liners are vehicle-specific TPE liners, not universal mats. Confirm your year, cab, Lightning vs gas, and whether you have the factory folding under-seat storage box. They are the budget custom-fit pick on this page.

Do I need rear mats in a crew cab?

If anyone rides in the back, or if tools and groceries ride there, get the front-and-rear set. That is SuperCrew, GM Crew Cab, Ram Crew, Tundra CrewMax: same job. A front-only kit leaves the second row carpet open to the same mud you just stopped up front.

What is the difference between Husky X-act Contour and Husky WeatherBeater?

X-act Contour is Husky’s premium laser-fit liner: DuraGrip surface, ProCore core, FormFit Edge, softer and more flexible than WeatherBeater. Independent lab tests Husky cites (MY 2018 F-150, on or before September 2024): about 22% more flexible, about 10% softer, about 20% faster to clean. WeatherBeater is Husky’s firmer, lower-priced ProGard/TPO line. This page picks X-act Contour as the job-truck default. Same limited lifetime warranty class. Do not order the wrong Husky line.
