For you if: you want pull-out storage in the bed, you will match full-size to full-size, and you will not add the drawer rating to the deck rating and call it one load.
Skip this page if: you want a locked chest across the rails, a bed mat, or a tonneau. Also skip if you were about to put a DECKED 200 lb drawer next to a Pack Rat 425 lb drawer and call one of them stronger without reading which surface the pound figure belongs to.

02 · 72-inch steel pull-out
Drawer 425 lb. Top load 2,000 lb. Size 72 x 49.5 x 9.5 in. White, from the chart color key. Not a crossover chest.
Check Weather Guard Pack Rat
A drawer system sits in the bed. A crossover toolbox sits on the rails. Loading the deck of a DECKED is not the same motion as pulling a Pack Rat.
DECKED full-size, technical-specs page: evenly distributed payload 2,000 lb. Drawer payload 200 lb. That 2,000 lb is the deck, spread out. It is not 2,000 lb in one drawer. Each drawer is 200 lb. Short-bed drawer inside: length 61.4 in, width 18.4 in, height 8.4 in, volume 158 L, extension 43 in. Standard and 8-foot drawer: length 72 in, width 18.4 in, height 8.4 in, volume 186 L, extension 54 in. Width the drawers need to function, on the standard row: 46 in.
Weather Guard, size chart, 379 X 04: drawer capacity 425 lb. Top load capacity 2,000 lb. A 425 lb drawer is not a 2,000 lb drawer. The 2,000 lb figure is top load. Narrow 48-inch rows on the same chart print 425 lb in the drawer and only 750 lb on top. Do not borrow the wide-row top load for a narrow box.
A DECKED drawer at 200 lb and a Pack Rat drawer at 425 lb were not published as the same test. Those lines stay separate.
Full-size short bed and full-size standard / 8-foot are different lengths and different system weights. Do not order the 65-inch system for an 8-foot bed, or the reverse. Midsize short bed on the same specs page is length 56.9 in, width 63.4 in, height 12.3 in, weight 177 lb. Midsize standard is 67.9 in, 204 lb. Midsize drawer payload is 400 lb, and the page calls it a mega drawer. That is not the full-size 200 lb drawer.
The vehicle SKU comes from the DECKED selector. This page does not print a truck code the selector did not return.
The size page says Pack Rat fits full-size, mid-size, and compact trucks, and it lists a set of nameplates. That list is not a year chart. 379-3-04 is the 72 x 49.5 x 9.5 row. A 48-inch or 60-inch row is a different model. For a full-bed install with a Pack Rat and a saddle box, the page says use the 9.5 in height Pack Rat and a standard-depth saddle so they do not interfere. That is the height on 379-3-04.
The same page says Pack Rat works with a spray-in liner and with most tonneau covers and caps if you verify clearance. It is not compatible with a drop-in bedliner. Lock line printed there: 1KEY ULTRALOCK compatibility. Divider count is not printed for this one model.
For a full-size bed you load on top and pull from the sides.
Drawback: The vehicle code comes from the DECKED selector. Short and 8-foot are not the same length.

For a full-width steel drawer if you keep drawer and top as two lines.
Drawback: Not compatible with a drop-in bedliner. A tonneau needs a clearance check.
Check Weather Guard Pack Rat
No prices. Full-size DECKED and Pack Rat 379-3-04. Midsize DECKED is a different system: 1,000 lb deck, 400 lb mega drawer.

Use the DECKED selector for the truck. Do not reuse one full-size length on every bed. Short, standard, and 8-foot are printed as different rows.
Pack Rat 379-3-04 is the 72-inch full-width row. Measure the bed before you assume cab-to-tailgate. A spray-in is called compatible. A drop-in liner is not. A tonneau needs a clearance check. The page does not print a year-by-year chart for 379-3-04.
Match the system to the bed. A chest on the rails is not this page.
A crossover toolbox sold as a drawer system.
DECKED 200 lb treated as Pack Rat 425 lb. Different wording. Different test.
Pack Rat 2,000 lb treated as drawer capacity. That figure is top load, and only on the wide rows.
A midsize DECKED rated with the full-size 2,000 / 200 pair.
A Pack Rat truck code this page did not print. The size page lists nameplates. It does not print years for 379-3-04.
Do not pile a point load on the DECKED deck and call it the 2,000 lb evenly distributed payload. Do not stand a 425 lb tool in the Pack Rat and then add 2,000 lb on the lid as if both figures stack into one rating. The pages do not print a combined figure.
DECKED full-size if you want a deck and two drawers: 2,000 lb evenly distributed on the deck, 200 lb in each drawer. Weather Guard Pack Rat 379-3-04 if you want a 72-inch steel drawer: 425 lb in the drawer, 2,000 lb on top. Those are not the same test.
The full-size technical-specs page prints 200 lb drawer payload. The deck is a separate 2,000 lb evenly distributed payload. Midsize is 400 lb in the mega drawer and 1,000 lb on the deck.
The size chart prints 425 lb drawer capacity and 2,000 lb top load capacity for the 72 x 49.5 x 9.5 row. The 425 lb line is not the top. The 2,000 lb figure is not the drawer.
No. A crossover toolbox sits on the rails. These two products sit in the bed as drawers.
The size page says no. It says spray-in liners are compatible, and most tonneau covers and caps need a clearance check.
