Air Lift WirelessONE Review: Towing With a Ram 1500 or F-150

Air Lift WirelessONE Review: Towing With a Ram 1500 or F-150

Air Lift WirelessONE lets you air up the springs on a Ram 1500 or F-150 from the driver’s seat. It is a compressor only, so you need air springs first.

Who it’s for, who should skip it

Buy it if: you tow a camper or haul with a half-ton that already runs air springs, and you change pressure every time the trailer goes on or comes off. Air Lift says it works with most brands and styles of air springs, not just its own.

Skip it if: your truck has no air springs yet. Buy the springs first. Also skip it if you want to set left and right pressure separately, because WirelessONE fills both sides equally.

For springs, Air Lift’s LoadLifter 5000 rear kits fit the 2019+ Ram 1500 (not Classic, Rebel, TRX or RHO) and the 2021+ F-150 (not Raptor or PowerBoost).

Fitment by year, cab and bed

Ram 1500 and F-150: Air Lift does not list WirelessONE by truck. It controls the air springs you already run, so year, cab and bed fitment comes from your air spring kit, not from the compressor.

Cab and bed: Air Lift doesn’t fit WirelessONE by cab or bed. Check the fitment on your air spring kit.

Install notes

Air Lift says nothing runs to the cab, because the handheld and app talk to the manifold wirelessly. The EZ Mount version ships with the compressor already on a bracket, and Air Lift claims that cuts install time by up to an hour. Air Lift doesn’t publish a total install time or a mount location for the Ram 1500 or F-150, so plan the mount with your installer before the parts arrive.

Real downsides

Single path. Both springs get the same pressure, so you can’t fix a side-heavy load by side.

Springs sold separately. Budget for an air spring kit as part of the job.

Thin published specs. Air Lift’s product page lists no compressor pressure, duty cycle or warranty term.

FAQ

Does WirelessONE work with air springs that aren’t Air Lift?

Air Lift says it works with most brands and styles of air springs.

Can I adjust the left and right sides separately?

No. WirelessONE is single path and fills both springs equally.

Which version should I buy for towing?

We’d take the 25980EZ for its heavy-duty compressor and pre-built bracket.

Does it raise my truck’s towing capacity?

No. It adjusts air spring pressure. Your truck’s ratings don’t change.

What else should I set up before towing?

Start with a weight distribution hitch. For a 2026 F-150, see our trailer brake controller picks.
